 The Intersection of Nursing Science and Health Care Delivery

  
 The morning will begin with a keynote by Dr. Carolyn Clancy, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ),  followed by a panel discussion and overview of CER and patient centered outcomes research. NINR Director, Dr. Patricia Grady will provide an overview of NINR’s role in CER during a lunchtime presentation.

 The afternoon will begin with five breakout sessions focusing on case studies and methodologies used in CER. The closing session, International and National Experiences of Nursing and Comparative Effectiveness Research, will be given by Nicky Cullum, University of York, UK; Debra Barksdale, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and Robin Newhouse, University of Maryland.
