Associate Dean for Nursing Research

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking an Associate Dean for Nursing Research. The Associate Dean for Nursing Research is responsible for the overall leadership and coordination of nursing research programs and their integration within the Department of Nursing in Rochester and across all Mayo Nursing sites. This includes the development and management of the infrastructure that advances the scientific foundation of nursing practice and its integration throughout the enterprise.  The Associate Dean for Nursing Research is responsible to develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate policies, programs, and services related to nursing research. This individual participates in assessing the research environment, forecasting trends, transmitting values, communicating ideas, coaching and mentoring others, managing resources, and assuring that Mayo Clinic and departmental core values are implemented. 

 

 

 

A research Doctoral degree is required. The candidate must also have a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in nursing. Experience leading large interdisciplinary research teams at multiple sites is required for this position. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated national reputation as a successful researcher by having had a funded program of research and publications in high impact peer reviewed journals.

All postings will be reviewed and approved by the Council prior to publication. They should be no more than 2 pages in length and include contact information and submission deadlines.

Specifications

  • Should be 500 or fewer characters (including spaces) in length.
  • Final advertisement is due two business days prior to the publication date (the first Friday of every month).
  • Advertisements will appear as a headline in the Council News e-mail that links to your full announcement or ad.
  • Council News is sent to approximately 400 members.
  • Advertisements will appear in the next available edition of Council News Mail, unless requested to post in a later edition.
