Clinical Nurse Scientist Special Interest Group
There is a gap in connecting nurse scientists across the country whose primary focus is on promoting and facilitating nursing research in the clinical setting. The Clinical Nurse Scientist Special Interest Group (SIG) works to provide an opportunity for networking and collaboration between nurse scientists working in clinical settings to advance nursing science.

Our Goals/Objectives:
  • To provide opportunities for networking among nurse scientists based in clinical settings
  • To provide professional development programs
  • To provide opportunities for mentoring and problem solving among SIG members 
  • To provide an avenue for investigators mentoring staff nurses to engage as research
    sites in implementation science
